As reported by many outlets, including the band's own website, Frankie Sparcello of the criminally under-rated New Orleans Thrash band Exhorder, has passed away. Sparcello recorded "The Law", the band's second of only two albums. He was however scheduled to play with the band in their upcoming tour, including The Maryland Deathfest. According to TMD's Facebook page, the band has stated they are not canceling the show; although that isn't being reported on the band's own site. Although a lot of controversy surrounded the belief by many that Exhorder was a direct influence on (and many say ripped off by) Pantera, there is no question in their short career they influenced the Groove-based Thrash that many came to love.
